Firm Expands Senior Leadership Team

NEW YORK, NY - November 15, 2010 - Higdon Partners LLC, a leading executive search firm focusing on the asset management and financial services industries, announced today that it has changed its name to HigdonBraddockMatthews LLC, effective immediately, to reflect an expansion of the firm's senior leadership team to include Managing Partners Derek R. Braddock and William R. Matthews. The firm is headquartered in New York City and has offices in Boston and Los Angeles.
Hank Higdon, Chairman and Managing Partner, stated, "The partnership has decided that Derek Braddock and Bill Matthews will take on leadership roles helping me run the firm on a day-to-day basis. As such, we believe it is appropriate to change the name of our firm as we prepare for continued growth in the years ahead."
Higdon continued, "As we approach our 25th anniversary in February 2011, our firm has great momentum. We have recently completed a range of notable searches for leading institutions in the traditional and alternative asset management arenas, and are excited about our growing presence in important markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia."

Derek Braddock, Managing Partner, 38, joined the firm in 2005 after five years with Charles Schwab & Company in the institutional area. Earlier in his career, he served as a trader with Salomon Smith Barney. Braddock started his career in marketing with Lord Abbett & Co. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received his M.B.A. from Northwestern University.
Bill Matthews, Managing Partner, 43, is a graduate of Yale University and received his J.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. After practicing law with Goodwin Procter in Boston, he joined SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as an investment banker before entering the search business in 2004. He joined the firm in 2008 and manages the Boston office.
